Whether you’re a parent or professional, if you’re reading this blog you’ve got a little one (or little ones) that pop into your mind when you think about kids who are deaf or hard of hearing. You want that little person to grow up to be the absolute best they can, and you’re committed to doing whatever it takes.
Hearing First has an amazing opportunity right now to do just that. I’ve shared Hearing First before, and they are such a good resource if you’re seeking listening and spoken language outcomes.
Over the next year, they’re offering a unique series called “Fundamentals of Listening and Spoken Language Learning Series.” It’s 12 different online learning experiences, teaching the basics of what listening and spoken language are, what that looks like with children, and so much more.
I wanted to post about this because this is such a great opportunity for both parents and professionals, and is FREE. In order to participate all you have to do is sign up for either the parent or professional community, and register for the first course. And even if you don’t think you’ll be interested in all 12 courses, that’s fine. You register for each one individually, so you can do just one or all of them. I hope to see you all there!
